We offer Music Therapy at your home or specific locations for individuals, groups, and local organizations. If you are interested in seeking Music Therapy services please contact us by submitting a contact form and we will reach out to you for a consult!

Currently we offer traditional guitar instruction & adaptive guitar lessons. Our adaptive lessons applies principles of Music Therapy to foster individualized learning and creative discovery for neurodiverse populations. 

Prism completed its eleventh season in the Spring of 2024. Prism is a music-theater-dance-voice-performance arts program for youth 8-24 years old with disabilities. Prism functions as one of few extra-curricular accommodated performance arts programs available to many of its participants. Prism provides an inclusive and highly accommodating environment which has been the starting point for many identity-affirming relationships for performers and their families. 

Program Development & Management

Love’s Music Therapy has a history of successful collaborations and program development & implementation, partnering with local and national organizations, university institutions, and private companies to develop & establish music therapy programs, arts based extra curricular activities, & music instruction programs where children and adults with and without disabilities can learn, grow, and create together.

The Prism of Project of Greater New Orleans 
Loves Music Therapy is proud to be the steward & managing
organization of Prism Project.

 

Since 2013 Prism Project has been providing accommodated performance arts opportunities, offering seasonal weekend workshops. Prism success is made possible from the following partnerships and affitaltions

Since 2022 Loves Music Therapy has been proud to partner with JPRD, providing music therapy programming at the Ree Alario Special Needs Center once a week, providing 2 x group-classes serving under 12 and 13 and above.

Bastion Community of Resistance: Headway Program 

In collaboration with Bastion Community of Resilience, Loves Music Therapy

provides a 2 hour Music Therapy Group for Veterans who served on or after 9/11/2001 and are living with a brain injury, spinal cord injury, PTSD, or other neurological conditions. Headway integrates warriors and caretakers and aims to maximize independence, improve skills, and build supportive networks.

GiGi’s Playhouse, New Orleans
MUSIC MAKERS SUMMER PROGRAM

Love’s Music Therapy is excited for the opportunity to collaborate with GiGi’s Playhouse, bringing music therapy service to their program since Spring 2021. We also support volunteer and practicum opportunities for University Students at this site.

New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park

Since 2019 Love’s Music Therapy has been privileged to have the opportunity to collaborate with the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park, offering services at the first Sensory Friendly Interactive Music Day for Children and Adults at The Mint, supportive programming serving the disabled community with International Artists in Residence, and continued development of the Prism Project of GNO

Raintree Children & Family Services 

Summer 2023 saw the beginning of music therapy services being offered at Raintree. Love’s Music Therapy is excited to have the opportunity to bring music as an afternoon program twice a month for the young ladies of Raintree.

Tulane, William Carey, & Ball State Universities 

Since 2012, Jeremy Love has offered and continues to offer many exciting intern & volunteer opportunities. Love’s Music Therapy currently has affiliations with Tulane, Willam Cary, & Ball State, & Universities.

Jeremy Love has been supervising at multiple sites that often access the programs listed on this page as well as private practice sites.
